The Biggest Challenge

The boys are not happy with their new digs. They loved Moggill, they loved the quiet and they certainly don’t like change. What children do? Especially when they have been brought up mainly in one house.

Nick and I have been used to doing Reno’s over the years. We really didn’t want to go down that path again but hey ho!!

We love being so close to both our workplaces. Living in Chelmer makes such a difference for both work and home life. I’m now starting to wonder how I managed to live in Moggill for more than 10 years.

The house, on the other hand, that’s a different story. The first weekend living in the house we managed to get all three bedrooms painted and the carpet ripped up which at least made us feel a little bit cleaner.

We’ve been sleeping on mattresses on top of sheets on the old floorboards and I’ve never been so excited to finally get nice new clean carpets. At least there’s somewhere we can go in the house right now with a little bit of luxury.

Kind Regards,
